Where is the store based?
Bubble and Geek's orders are shipped from Bridgeport, WV (USA). We do not have a brick-and-mortar storefront.
What is this store's return and exchange policy?
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis, but please keep the following in mind:
Shipping costs are nonrefundable, unless I have made an error.
If you are not satisfied with your candle or wax melt purchase upon receipt, send the package back within 3 business days. As soon as I receive the unused products in new condition, I will reimburse you for the cost of the item (not shipping costs).
Unfortunately it is a violation for me to accept returns on any personal care products (lip balm, roll-on fragrance, soap, etc).
I do my best to describe things as accurately as possible, but everyone's nose is different, so there are occasions when one of my scents doesn't smell to someone, what it smells like to me or those who have smelled our scents in testing. Because of this, I always recommend that my customers try out one of my sample packs before committing to a full size product if you are unsure whether or not you will like the scent.
My order is a gift! Can you ship it directly to the recipient?
Sure thing! Just make sure the shipping address is correct. If you give us the wrong shipping address, you will be responsible for any additional shipping charges to get the package to its destination.
On that note... can you not include the prices?
No worries! Because our products are so commonly gifted, we don't include prices on our packing slips.
Can you gift wrap my order?
Absolutely! All of our orders are shipped out wrapped in nice tissue paper, ready for gift giving. :)
Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Yes, we do! But, please be prepared for higher shipping costs. International shipping prices are based on what the USPS charges, and it is out of my control.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks.
I'm an international customer! Is there anything I should know about customs fees/duties before placing my order?
In some countries, buyers are subjected to customs taxes and duties on items shipped from international locations. The buyer is responsible for all international customs fees/duties. The cost varies by value and location, so it is the buyer's responsibility to research and be aware of what to expect. If you have questions about this, your local post office is a good place to check.
What services do you use to ship your products?
Orders are shipped PROMPTLY via USPS Priority Mail or First Class Mail (whichever applies, and is cheaper). Occasionally, we ship via FedEx (for very large orders). We usually ship within 2 business days (maybe longer for special orders or circumstances). To save you money on shipping, flat-rate and regional boxes are used when possible.
I generally ship small orders (weighing under 13 ounces) within the US in bubble mailers via USPS First Class Mail. Orders within the US weighing more than 13 ounces are shipped in boxes via Priority Mail. within the US. Tracking numbers are provided with all US orders upon shipment.
All International orders weighing less than 4 pounds are shipped via USPS First Class International. Bubble mailers are used for smaller orders, and I use boxes for larger orders/orders with breakables. Tracking numbers are provided with all Canadian orders upon shipment. Unfortunately tracking is usually not available for non-US, non-Canada countries unless you want to pay lots extra to upgrade ($30+ USD last time I checked, but this has likely increased since then).
What sort of packing materials do you use for shipments?
To help protect orders in transit, I frequently use the following recycled cushioning materials: Plastic bubble wrap, Styrofoam packing "peanuts," biodegradable corn starch-based packing "peanuts." If you have a problem with any of these materials, please contact me before you place your order (or leave a note in the "Notes to Seller" box at the time you place your order).
How long will it take my order to ship/what is your processing time?
We usually ship within 1-3 business days (sometimes longer for special orders or circumstances).
Do you charge sales tax?
Yes, a 6% sales tax will be charged on orders shipped to West Virginia.
What if something is wrong with my order?
